England pacer Tom Curran has been ruled out of the India-England T20I and ODI series due to last minute injury.

Ahead of the much anticipated clash, pacer Tom Curran has been ruled out of the limited overs series due to a side strain. His younger brother Sam Curran has been named as his replacement.

Players from both teams are struggling to keep themselves fit ahead of the T20I series.  Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes have already been ruled out of the series. Things are not too different for India as well.

Earlier, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was also ruled out of the England T20I series due to a fractured finger. Bumrah was hit on his hand in the last over of the first T20I between India and Ireland. Most thought that it was just a minor injury that would take care of itself in the next couple of days.

After the results of the scan came out, it was a great setback for India as their strike bowler was ruled out of the upcoming T20I and ODI series against England. Deepak Chahar was drafted in the side in his place.

Young Indian spinner Washington Sundar too injured his ankle ahead of the first T20I against Ireland and was ruled out of the T20I and ODI series against England. Sundar sustained an injury in his ankle and was hardly able to move. It was then that members of the support staff helped him to move outside the field.

MI all-rounder Krunal Pandya has been announced as his replacement for the T20Is. KXIP bowling all-rounder Axar Patel will replace him in the Indian ODI squad.
