TOT vs JUV Dream11 Team: Singapore leg of the International Champions Cup continues today with Juventus and Tottenham set to regale us in a meticulous encounter

Sunday sees the Singapore leg of the International Champions Cup get only better with two giants in the European football fraternity taking on each other today. Serie A winners Juventus will be squaring off against Champions League finalists Tottenham in either side’s first pre-season match as the two look to begin preparations for their respective domestic seasons starting today.

After failing to make it to the semi-finals of the Champions League, Juventus went for an overhaul in their management, brining in Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri as their manager as the side look to unlock their true potential. Sarri who had enjoyed unprecedented success with Chelsea, helping them lift the Europa League along with sealing a third place berth in the Premier League became Juventus’ first choice option owing to his brand of seamless attacking place.

And the Italian will be looking to treat this encounter as a chance to try out his Sarriball method of football, one which involves keeping hold of the ball and relying on quick passing moves to exploit the spaces in between defences and create articulate attacking moves. A slew of transfers, especially in midfield accord Juventus the opportunity to try out a slew of different combinations from last season as Sari looks to create an important link between the midfield and strike force.

While both the sides have gone ahead with solid squads for their first pre-season match, severable notable names miss out as well with Aaron Ramsey, Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia Perin, Douglas Costa, Sami Khedira, Marko Pjaca, Moise Kean and Luca Pellegrini all not a part of Juventus’ squad for this match. Elsewhere, Tottenham have left behind Janssen and Rose as the two prepare for transfers away from the club following Kieran Trippier who recently got a move to Atletcio Madrid.

Tottenham Vs Juventus Match Prediction

For Champions League finalists, Tottenham, this match is all about consolidating the consummate success the side tasted last year. They eventually went down to Liverpool 2-0 in the summit clash but were massively appreciated for their spree, one that saw them make it to the grand stage despite being the only club to make no transfers during the 2018-19 campaign.

Expect both sides to dole out completely different outfits in either half of this match as either side looks to treat it was a chance to regain fitness and try out new combinations. With Sarri and Pochettino both well-versed with each other’s brand of football, having squared off against each other 4 times during last season, this match is bound to be a closely contested one. We see Juventus just about scraping past a win on the day.

Goal-Keeper for TOT vs JUV Dream11

With Tottenham’s Paul Gazzaniga hardly haven got any playing time last year, this match will be one where he will be tested out. Expect him to play atleast one full half where he will face a solid amount of shots and this sees him make a space for himself in our side.

Defenders for TOT vs JUV Dream11

Juan Foyth is our pick from Tottenham while we have a two man partnership coming in from Tottenham. Both Joao Cancelo and Mattia de Sciglo have been chosen by us given that both these players suit Sarri’s style of play which demands the fullbacks to maraud their way up the pitch and offer their support to the wide attacking players by stretching up the opposition’s defence to keep the ball moving.

Midfielders for TOT vs JUV Dream11

We have opted for all the attacking options over here with Lucas Moura, Harry Winks and new signing Tanguy Ndombele coming in to form a trivalent from the English side. Tottenham ended up shelling out a massive payday for Ndombele, making him their first big buy in over a year to consolidate a proper defensive segment of their pivot in the centre of the park and he’s bound to be tried out today by the side.

From Juventus we only have Miralem Pjanic come in for us.

Strikers for TOT vs JUV Dream11

This is where we have started compensating our side with the attacking options from Juventus with Cristiano Ronaldo and Mario Mandzukic both being selected by us. Sarri had recently alluded to the fact of playing Ronaldo in a more central role as a forward up the pitch and this will be the first time we see the player indulge in the position under Sarri’s tutelage.

From Tottenham we have Heung Min Son come into our side with us still unsure of how much playing time Harry Kane will be given for this encounter.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Ronaldo has been made our captain for this match while it’s Moura who is chosen as the vice-captain.
