TOT vs MCI Dream 11 Prediction: Tottenham Hotspurs vs Manchester City. Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola face-off for the first time since Mourinho has taken over Tottenham’s managerial role.
Spurs have been winless in the last six EPL meetings against Man City (D2 L4). Tottenham’s last win against the champions came at White Hart Lane in 2016. Analysing impacts of the managers, Dele Alli has scored nine goals in all competitions under Mourinho as compared to his 2 goals in ten games under Pochettino. Alli will be a key player for Spurs on Sunday as Mourinho plans to disturb Man CIty’s posessional play. Harry Kane’s absence due to injury has hampered the home team’s performance this season.
Kevin De Bruyen has been sensational for the Citizens. De Bruyen who missed half of the league last season due to injury seems to be making up for lost time. Laporte will undergo a fitness test before the game. Fernandinho is expected to carry on in his defensive role for the visitors. Pep Guardiola’s forward setup is capable of challenging any defensive unit. A lightening quick forward line up, a creative and composed midfield is something every manager desires to have. I doubt if they can defend their title but I certainly consider them favourites coming into this tie.

TOT vs MCI Dream 11 Goalkeeper
Hugo Lloris has had a decent comeback after a long term elbow injury. I am anticipating both sides to score on Sunday, I need to select top 4 players from the Spurs line up and Lloris is certainly one of them. Having missed most of the season, Lloris is still Spurs first choice keeper.
TOT vs MCI Dream 11 Defenders
I am anticipating a flurry of goals on Sunday. Since I have to adhere to a budget, I have decided to invest heavily on my defenders and forwards. Therefore all I can spend on my defenders is 24 credits.
Davinson Sanchez provides solidity and control to the Spurs defending unit. Sanchez with his small passing technique has successfully completed 977 passes along with 35 tackles this season.
John Stones and Joao Cancelo collectively form a strong defensive unit. Negotiating the aerial threats and man marking are the key elements implemented by the duo. Collectively the Citizens duo has completed staggering 1,273 passes and have had 34 successful tackles.
TOT vs MCI Dream 11 Midfielders
I strongly feel that both sides will score and the midfielders will have a key role to play, therefore I have a star studded midfield featuring in form players from both sides.
Dele Alli has been in tremendous form for the Lilly Whites under Mourinho. With the absence of Harry Kane and Christian Erickson, Alli has additional responsibilities. Alli not only is expected to be a key midfielder feeding balls to the likes of Moura and Son, he also has to play possession game to be effective against Man CIty.
Kevin De Bruyne who is in ultimate form this season has already created 63 chances from open play this season in the EPL. His ability to float from the right flank to the left makes him an unstoppable force. De Bruyne this season has scored 7 goals, assisted 15 goals and has completed mammoth 1,265 passes. De Bruyne is an obvious choice for any manager.
Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva have the capabilities of demolishing any side, their creativity in the field can be analysed from their performances. Excellent control of the ball and abilities to score from spots makes them a special duo. Collectively the duo has scored 12 goals, assisted 11 goals and completed 1,526 passes so far this season.
TOT vs MCI Dream 11 Forwards
Harry Kane is missed badly this season by the home team. I am not sure if Sergio Aguero will start so I have chosen Rahim Sterling over him. Sterling provides extreme pace and remarkable ball control upfront. The England International lately has been slightly off track but with his ability and skills it takes no time for him to get back to scoring. Sterling this season has scored 11 goals already.
Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura will be playing and extremely attacking role. The home team has to score early in the game if they want to stand a chance against the defending champions and the Spurs duo of Son and Moura have all the capability of providing their side with an excellent start
TOT vs MCI Dream 11 Power Players
As I anticipate the midfielders to play a massive role in this game, I have the two inform players as my power players. Kevin De Bruyne will be the captain and Dele Alli will be the Vice Captain. Both have the capabilities of both scoring and assisting goals in big matches.
