So often you come across matches that help you traverse the entire spectrum of human emotions, games that further solidify your love for sport, your love for drama. When Hardik Pandya helped that ball along the leg side for a boundary, a sea of emotions erupted; jubilation took over some while some were flabbergasted with what just transpired. Nonetheless it showed us that sport holds a lot of power, the power to help you soar high, and the power to kick you hard in the knees; and more often than not you don’t know when either would happen.

Mumbai Indians scripted one of the best turnarounds in recent IPL history, knocking off 60 in the last 4 to send the KKR camp crashing down. Nitish Rana anchored the innings all around and took off in the last 4 overs, belting Ankit Rajpoot to all parts of the ground. And then it was the showman from India, Hardik Pandya, who took centre stage, embraced it, and just made the game his own.
But there was this huge helping hand that the kKR fielders provided Mumbai with. Suryakumar Yadav couldn’t collect an innocuous delivery coming is way on the boundary line and Rishi Dhawan then slipped and dropped an absolute sitter to hand the game on a plate to the Mumbai Indians.
And as usual, as soon as people witness something out of the ordinary in the IPL, the F word comes into being. Sometimes people forget that sport is meant to be unpredictable and pressure plays a huge part in determining the course of a game. But what better than sitting in the comfort of your room and labelling the games as fixed, right?(More on this later)
