Twitter explodes as it is Federer vs Nadal at Indian Wells
2017 is proving to be a feast for Tennis fans. Two Champions who were never expected to rule the roosts again have shown the world that class doesn’t really fade way. Top that up with some gruelling hard work and you can rise to the top no matter what the circumstances.
Roger and Rafa have been the story of this generation(in terms of Tennis). This generation has grown up idolising the two, respecting Federer’s brilliance and enjoying Nadal’s fighting spirit. And they have waited with bated breath to see these two stalwarts face each other again. The Australian Open presented the fans with what looked like a freak chance of seeing the two play against each other but when the gates open, things really start to flow.
The Indian Wells draw had presented the Tennis fraternity with one more chance of seeing the two face off each other, and with both of them winning their respective 3rd rounds, it is time for ‘Fedal 36’.
Federer has said that he is very excited to face Rafa once again and it is a privilege for both players especially after what both of them went through in terms of injuries in the past few years.
Twitter went ablaze as arguably the greatest rivalry of all time takes centre stage again. Here are the best reactions:

Federer-Nadal, 18x Slam champ vs 14x Slam champ, will happen in same round as Lajovic-Carreno Busta and Jaziri-Sock. Tennis weird sometimes.
