Solskjaer wins the Premier League manager of the month for January following an unbeaten run since his appointment at Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been awarded the Premier League manager of the month for January after a terrific performance since being appointed the caretaker manager of the club.
He is the first Manchester United manager to win the award since Sir Alex Ferguson.
Solskjaer joined the club in December and is yet to lose a game since his arrival.
After a 9-game winning run across all competitions since his appointment, his team dropped points for the first time in the league with a 2-2 draw against Burnley last week.
“You cannot be a good manager without good players, and they’ve been fantastic so far,” Solskjaer said after receiving the award.
