Twitter reactions on India’s loss in Perth Test: Twitter was angry with the Indian team after they lost the second Test of the series.

During the fifth day of the second Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Perth, Australia defeated India by 146 runs to draw level the four-match series 1-1. With both the matches yielding results, one expects the imminent two matches to do the same as well.
After setting a 287-run target to the visitors, Australia were always on the top of the match. India captain Virat Kohli’s sensational form was the only worry for the hosts, but after dismissing him cheaply last evening, Australia had all but confirmed their victory.
On the last day of the match, India required 175 runs with five wickets in hand. The Australian bowlers required just more than an hour to bundle out the opposition as India ended up scoring 140-10 in 56 overs. With bowling figures of 19-3-39-3, Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the pick of the bowlers.
In Virat Kohli’s 25th Test hundred and Mohammad Shami’s career-best figures, India have two individual brilliant performances. Having said that, the hosts played better as a unit, which saw the result going their way.
India misreading the pitch on Day 1 is another reason for them losing the Test. Apart from it, the dismal form of their opening batsmen is another concern for the Indian team management.
India’s loss received a significant amount of criticism from some of the cricket experts and the fans back home. Read some of the latest Twitter reactions on India’s defeat below:
Australia you bloody beauty!!! What dominate performance & what an amazing test match battle between both teams 🔥 #AusvsIndia

Pendulum has swung dramatically one way then the other. Invaluable runs put on by last pair leaves India 287 to chase on a daunting pitch. Difficult, yet not impossible I say. What do you think?

Alas, India’s tail has no muscle to wag even a bit. Well played Australia! Massive win shifts momentum in their favour in the series

The last Test side to win toss, bat first & lose: West Indies at Hyderabad in Oct 2018
Since then in the last 13 Tests, all sides winning toss and batting first have WON!#AusvInd#AusvsInd— Mohandas Menon (@mohanstatsman) December 18, 2018

Hindsight in cricket like life rarely helps.. but not playing @imjadeja in Perth a real boo boo. Lack of variety in bowling, long tail.. We may still have lost but would have been a tighter test! Anyway, 1-1 with Boxing Day test coming up.. bring it on!! #INDvsAUS

Well played boys!!! Great win! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻@MCG here we come! #serieson!

India have huge issues at the top of the order and that often determines which way the team goes. And the tail is way too long. The fears that the bowling would take care of itself but the batting would struggle have come true here.

Tough, uncompromising, don’t take a backward step cricket from the entire team. What a brilliant win from 🇦🇺 bring on Boxing Day!

It’s Tim Paine who has the last laugh against @imVkohli in Perth https://t.co/X7S0J3j0ck pic.twitter.com/aTmusccXpY

I think Australia won this test match with old fashioned stubbornness and grit on the 4th morning from Khawaja and Paine. It’s been a good match in all respects for Paine

Very disappointing morning for India. They have been outplayed in this test match and the high of Adelaide is over.

Before anyone talks down this win, let’s remember that Australia just beat the number 1 team in the world, without our two best batsmen, on a pitch we’ve never played on before. Superb. #AUSvIND

Virat is simply not a good captain off the field – where his mistakes cost us matches and talent in the long term. It is unconscionable that Bhuvi is fit in a foreign land, in your 13, and not one of your top-3 picks let alone top-4. On a ground not having a spinner. #AUSvIND

When we had good batsman we didn’t had good bowlers and now the situation is opposite. Problem is our both department never clicks together and that’s been a story from years #AUSvIND

At times I wonder why Pant is so stupid. He can be anything but never a Dhoni who has a wise head above his shoulders #AUSvIND
