Twitter reactions on Man Utd vs Brighton: Manchester United defeated Brighton 2-1 to registered seventh consecutive victory across all competitions.
Manchester United’s impressive form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continued as the side beat Brighton 2-1 in their league game earlier today.
Paul Pogba opened the goalscoring early in the first half after he won the penalty after being sandwiched between two Brighton defenders.
Pogba converted the penalty exquisitely, and celebrated with the ‘baby celebration’.
Marcus Rashford doubled the lead right before the halftime whistle, as he scored an incredible solo goal after dribbling past the Brighton defenders. Earlier, Diogo Dalot found Rashford with a brilliant ball.
With this win, Manchester United go to fifth in the Premier League table and await the result of the game between Arsenal and Chelsea. A win or a draw for Chelsea would ensure United remain fifth.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to United’s brilliant victory:
Pogba has five goals and five assists (I’m adamant he assisted himself today when he won the penalty) in seven games under Solskjaer! pic.twitter.com/rY9dODsadB

Pogba scores a penalty and gets booked for time wasting in the process….not really, I made that up…. the time wasting bit.

I see Pogba’s social media activity is impeding his game again. Oh no, hang on.

Not as comfortable as it should have been in the end but still another deserved victory for United. Rashford brilliant. Lindelof very good, too. Seven straight wins for Solskjaer.

Rashford has been in very good form for the last two or three months but has added some unreal finishing in the last few weeks. On this form the likes of Lukaku and Sanchez better get used to the bench. Wonderful stuff.
