Twitter reactions on Virat Kohli’s 24th Test century: Twitter celebrates Virat Kohli’s 24th Test century against West Indies at Rajkot.

During the second day of the first Test between India and West Indies at Rajkot, Indian captain Virat Kohli scored yet another hundred in international cricket, his 24th in Tests and 59th overall.

Kohli was unbeaten on 72* last evening. Resuming India’s innings from 364-4 along with wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant, the duo started the day on a positive note for India, scoring at almost four runs per over in the first 10 overs. Pant, chiefly, was his quintessential self on the morning.

The 29-year old right-hand batsman eventually reached his century on the second ball of the 107th over after he hit a boundary past the short fine-leg fielder off Devendra Bishoo. In which was his 17th Test century as captain, it was his second against West Indies in this format.

An highlight of Kohli’s innings was his running between the wicket, a facet of the game on which he has laid significant emphasis in the recent years. Batting for nearly 50 overs yesterday, Kohli hit only four fours.

Having scored three boundaries today, Kohli hit a total of seven fours in his century, something which is hardly the case these days. Although not a natural big-hitter, Kohli let’s his ones his twos not build the scoreboard pressure on him.

Kohli’s fans on Twitter were elated after watching him score another century today. Below are some of the latest Twitter reactions on him:
