During the first T20I of the ongoing West Indies’ tour of India in Hyderabad, India captain Virat Kohli didn’t shy away from expressing his anger at square leg umpire Nitin Menon after a close call went against the home team.
It all happened on the penultimate delivery of the 12th over when West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder bowled a waist-high full-toss which was hit for a boundary by Kohli.

Having gained four runs, Kohli straight away expressed his anger towards umpire Menon, questioning him over not giving the no-ball. With the umpire standing tall on his decision, Kohli continued to appear livid on the field.
It is not the first time Kohli has shown aggression against an Indian umpire. Usually expressive on the field, Kohli has been often seen arguing with the home umpires.
Chasing a 208-run target, Kohli is currently leading the Indian chase on the back of his 23rd T20I half-century.
After Kohli won the toss and invited West Indies to bat, the visitors scored 207/5 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the sixth over, batsman Shimron Hetmyer top-scored for West Indies with 56 (41) with the help of two fours and four sixes. With bowling figures of 4-0-36-2, India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the Indian bowlers.
