Twitter reacts as Chelsea beat Arsenal in a highly exciting match to go top of the table with 6 points.

Arsenal’s poor start to the league continued as they failed to register a single point off their first two games of the season. After an uninspiring performance against defending champions Manchester City, Arsenal failed to beat Chelsea on the second match-week of the Premier League.

Chelsea made a solid start to the match as Pedro and Alvaro Morata scored two early goals for the Blues, but Arsenal came back strong towards the end of the first half. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi scored two goals inside four minutes as the first half ended 2-2.

The game was mostly played in Arsenal’s half after half time, and Chelsea were soon rewarded for their persistence when Marcos Alonso finally gave Sarri’s side a lead again in the 81st minute.

Chelsea now go top of the table with 6 points, while leading on goal difference against Tottenham and Bournemouth. Arsenal are yet to open their account in the Premier League.
