Twitter slams Khaleel Ahmed and Krunal Pandya after Bangladesh beat India in Delhi

Twitter slams Khaleel Ahmed and Krunal Pandya: Twitterati was unhappy with the fast bowler and all-rounder after loss in Delhi T20I.

During the first T20I of the ongoing Bangladesh’s tour of India in Delhi, Bangladesh beat India by 7 wickets to go 1-0 up in the three-match series.

Chasing a 149-run target, Bangladesh sealed the chase in the last over on the back of wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim’s fifth T20I half-century. Coming in to bat No. 4 in the eighth over, Rahim ended up scoring 60* (43) with the help of eight fours and a six.

While India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and captain Rohit Sharma goofed up with opting for the DRS thrice in the same over bowled by spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, it was all-rounder Krunal Pandya and pacer Khaleel Ahmed who faced criticism towards the end of the match.

With Bangladesh needing 33 runs off 16 balls, Pandya dropped Rahim at deep mid-wicket to give Bangladesh a significant advantage in the match. The ball going for a boundary further didn’t help Pandya’s case.

India still had a chance as the visitors required 22 runs in the last two over. However, Ahmed conceding four consecutive fours against Rahim saw the outcome of the match getting affected. With the opposition scoring 18 runs in the penultimate over, Ahmed registered bowling figures of 4-0-37-1.

Bangladesh beating India in India without a few of their top players speaks highly about the manner in which they played today.
