Twitter slams Virat Kohli for wearing shorts during toss
Twitter slams Virat Kohli for wearing shorts during toss: Twitter was angry after the Indian captain wore shorts during the toss.
During the second day of India’s only warm-up match ahead of the Test series against Australia at Sydney, India captain Virat Kohli scored an impressive half-century to continue his good form ahead of the first Test which will from December 6 at Adelaide.
Slated to start yesterday, the first ball of the match was bowled today after play was aborted on the first day due to heavy rain. Sam Whiteman, captain of CA XI, had won the toss and put the visitors in to bat.
Kohli came in to bat at his usual No. 4 position in the 21st over. Kohli stitched a 73-run stand with Pujara as Indian batsmen started to make a mark in the warm-up match. By the time Kohli got out, he had scored 64 (87) with the help of seven fours and a six.
Despite playing an impressive innings, Kohli ended up being lashed by fans on social media platform Twitter for not supporting proper attire during the toss ceremony. Apparently, Kohli was seen arriving for the toss in shorts. Read some of the Twitter reactions on below:

Disgraceful and disrespectful… There was time captains used to wear Blazers during toss…. This behavior is absolutely unpardonable….

This @imVkohli bad attitude is showing no any respect for game and their legacy why @bcci @icc @accessonline n other cricket members think about this. Where is #sunilgavaskar who taunted in #Aisacup to Pakistaniplayer for their cap??? What @imVkohli is showing

@ImViratkohli @imVkohli , you are amazing but it doesn’t mean that you will forget the basics ! Wearing shorts in a toss during a warmup match is completely not acceptable! You still have a long career ahead and I am sure you will break all the records !!! 👍👍👍 #TeamIndia

This is not a gentleman behavior in a gentleman game.@imVkohli you are just disrespecting the Indian culture as u re representing India.

No matter @imVkohli is the new age best batsman, he still needs 2 give proper respect to cricket atleast for the sake of opposition team by being respectfully dress up in trousers n ur nations cap, else legacy he will leave behind will be harmful !! @vikrantgupta73 @MadanLal1983
