UAE vs NED Dream11 : Netherlands look to save the series as the two sides faceoff for their second encounter in as many days with Netherlands staring at a 2-0 deficit

Netherlands went into this four match T20 series heavily touted to emerge as the winners from it and dominate proceedings but unfortunately for them things haven’t gone the way the side would have fathomed. After losing a closely fought encounter in the series opener, things ended up completely unravelling for them yesterday as the side were drubbed yesterday.
Batting first, Netherlands went onto register a paltry 139-6, one they were never able to defend. It was a disappointing performance from a side otherwise known to put on stellar batting displays as the side went onto lose wickets at regular intervals, failing to put on any partnership of worth as to peter out for an average score.
In the end UAE ended up winning the match with 3 balls and 5 wickets to spare, taking a 2-0 series lead, one which could see Netherlands end up conceding the series if they go onto lose today as well. It’s this proposition which sees us set for a humdinger of an encounter today, one where either side will look to leave no stone unturned as they head out with different agendas playing on their minds, but one which point towards the common objective of a win.
Pitch Conditions And Toss
Although we got a low scoring encounter yesterday, it was hardly due to the pitch’s fault. This is a beautiful wicket for batting, one that saw 349 runs being scored on it in the league opener and if you are ready to bide your time on it in the early exchanges, finding the boundary will become an extremely easy task.
Do expect the surface to slow do a little bit with this being the second match on the bounce on it but that won’t deter the batsmen too much. This is still a fine batting surface, one where the side winning the toss will be looking to bat first one.
Probable Playing 11
Netherlands
Stephan Myburgh, Max O’Dowd, Ben Cooper, Saqib Zulfiqar, Scott Edwards (WK), Sikander Zulfiqar, Pieter Seelaar (C), Philippe Boissevain, Vivian Kingma, Brandon Glover, Philippe Boissevain
UAE

Netherlands vs UAE Probable Winner
After two defeats, it would be easy to dismiss Netherlands from the series, especially after their trouncing yesterday. However, the recent results don’t take away the sheen from a side which has been on a massive ascendancy over the course of the last year, emerging as one of the most promising cricketing countries in the fraternity.
We expect them to rectify their batting display in this encounter and go onto script a comeback into the series.

Netherlands vs UAE Dream11 Today
Wicket-Keepers for UAE vs NED Dream11
We have gone with Scott Edwards as our wicket-keeper for both the matches till now and that isn’t changing for us today as well. He didn’t score big yesterday but can easily go onto improve on that showing given the immense pool of abilities he has in his belly.
Batsmen for UAE vs NED Dream11
One of the biggest reasons for Netherlands failing to put on a big score yesterday was due to Max O’Dowd being sent back to the pavilion early on. Normally someone who always puts a prize on his wicket, scoring 51 in 35 balls in the series opener, expect Max to put on a big score today and act as the fulcrum for his side yet again.
Stephan Myburgh was someone we wanted to get into our side as well but with him not playing yesterday, we are not going to risk his selection. Ben cooper comes in from the side instead with him waging a lone battle with the bat yesterday despite losing partners at the other end. Muhammad Usman and Rameez Shahzad are our picks from the opposition with Rameez scoring 49 in the last encounter.
All-Rounders for UAE vs NED Dream11
With three wickets in the previous encounter, Rohan Mustafa is our pick for this match from UAE along with Ashfaq Ahmed. From Netherlands we are picking up Sikander Zulfiqar as we opt for three all-rounders for this encounter with the all-rounders always making for players to rope a Dream 11 side in the shortest format of the game.
Bowling Order for UAE vs NED Dream11
Despite their batting order putting on such a horrid display, Netherlands still managed to take the encounter all the way to the final over due to their bowling strength. And leading their compelling efforts was spinner Pieter Seelaar, sending down a spell where he didn’t give the batsmen any room or space to play around with.
He was accompanied perfectly by Vivian Kingma who comes in as well for us while from the other side we have Zahoor Khan coming in after he picked up 2 wickets yesterday to pick up 14 wickets from 11 matches in T20s.
Captain And Vice-Captain
We continue to make Max our captain while Rohan is the vice-captain.
