MJF Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is undoubtedly one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. The Irish UFC fighter has made such strides in his field that he has become the benchmark against which other rising stars are judged.

But McGregor rarely assesses the caliber of an up-and-coming UFC contender himself. However, recently, he did so by applauding Raul Rosas Jr. after the UFC rookie won at UFC 282.

What did Conor McGregor say about Raul Rosas Jr.?

The 18-year-old American fighter made his pay-per-view debut by competing on the preliminary card of UFC 282 in Las Vegas. He took on his old rival Jay Perrin in a three-round bout.

Interestingly, Rosas Jr. won the fight in the very first round by applying a Neck Crank on his opponent. The teenager looked very confident and brought the fans to their feet with his performance.

Not only that, but Rosas Jr. also impressed the former two-weight champion of UFC Conor McGregor. ‘The Notorious’ who had already talked about the youngster, took to his official Twitter account and praised him.

“Paul Rosas- great debut, watching you!,” McGregor wrote. The 18-year-old is a product of the Dana White Contender Series. With his incredible debut now, the fans will expect more from him in his next bout.

McGregor vs. Michael Chandler can be next!

McGregor has been out for a year now after his injury in 2021. Thus, his fans are eagerly waiting for him to return. McGregor is back to training and has hinted that he will join the USADA testing pool in February 2023.

This is great news for McGregor’s fans. However, to add to it, according to many reports on the internet, ‘The Notorious’ might face Michael Chandler in his return. If this happens, it will be a delightful treat for the fans. However, nothing has been said officially yet.

Do you think it is a good fight to make? What are your thoughts about McGregor’s tweet?
