Conor McGregor reacts after losing to Dustin Poirier. The fighter is gutted and admits he was not as confident as he needed to be.
UFC 257 is in the books and it was an iconic event. There were a total of 11 fights lined up on the fight card and Conor McGregor Vs. Dustin Poirier was the headliner fight and the biggest attraction fight by quite some distance.
All eyes were on the much-anticipated rematch and millions and millions of MMA enthusiasts worldwide were eager to find out the answer of, will it be the repeat of the 2014 Featherweight bout or Diamond will rise to the occasion. As it turns out Dustin Poirier shocked the world and gave Conor perhaps his biggest defeat.
The match could only last till the second round and at the 2:32 mark of the round Herb Dean stopped the fight to give Dustin a TKO win over McGregor.

At the post-match comment section with Jon Anik, Conor McGregor expressed views on what went wrong in the fight and said he was not as confident as he needed to be. He also reviewed the entire fight and then gave Dustin Poirier the due credit for bringing him down.

What’s Next For Conor McGregor?
The fans and followers of Conor McGregor are apparently shocked after what they witnessed and some even drawing conclusions that it’s time for Conor McGregor to leave the sport.
In the very same conversation with Jon Anik, Conor McGregor said he will be active and will be back soon. So, what’s next for Conor McGregor cannot be predicted but as three fights still left in his contract, more UFC appearances are definitely on the cards. So, it would be a sight to witness as to how he would come back from this defeat.
