UFC Fight Island location leaked. There has been much speculation about where the island is located but the answer has now been revealed.
The outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic has halted various events around the world. The UFC however, has gone about its business. They too though, have faced challenges in these trying times. With International fighters not able to compete due to travel restrictions, the UFC have had to work with a limited roster.

To get around that, President Dana White announced the idea of “Fight Island” back in April. However, not much else has been divulged about the island except that it will feature an octagon on the beach. However, it seems that the mysterious location has finally been revealed.

According to a recent report by Combate, the UFC will set up ‘Fight Island’ in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The UFC have yet to confirm the location. However, Abu Dhabi does have lesser restrictions and relaxed policy on COVID-19 quarantine.
Dana White has said that he will reveal more information about it next week. He has however, revealed that Fight Island will likely hosts its first event on the July 11th. The UFC had earlier set the date to June 27th.
“People are very intrigued by ‘Fight Island,’ and I’m excited for it,” White said. “Right now, we’re looking at June, and we’re literally gonna knock out three or four [events] in a month. And I’m gonna stay on the island for a month. I’ll probably be there the whole month of July.”
“I’ll have pictures of the (Fight Island) infrastructure next week and have more details for everybody,” he continued.
“I’ve been saying June 27, but it’s looking more like July 11,” White added.
“That’s the first date that we’re actually bringing in all the different guys from other parts of the world.”
The UFC have held three events in the Abu Dhabi so far. The first was UFC 112 back in April 2010. The most recent event was UFC 242 that featured Khabib Nurmagomedov’s return and successful defence of his lightweight title against Dustin Poirier.
