This week in the Vegas edition, one of the most interesting match-up storylines, which didn’t even was the supposed feature contest five days ago, is now all set to headline the fight night, as all the pre-event formalities are done.
At the Fight Night, Rafael Dos Anjos was initially going to face Islam Makhachev in the main event, however, an injury forced Islam out just five days prior to UFC Vegas 14, which in-turn left the headliner fight in jeopardy. But as luck would have it, Paul Felder, who otherwise would have been a commentator for the night, stepped in for the short notice clash, and apparently saved the card from going a match down.
Besides the main event there are 10 more fights lined-up to take place. So, a complete spectacle is guaranteed as some superior MMA action is on its way.

Originally there were 12 fights written on the card, but weight cutting issues faced by the Middleweight fighter Saparbek Safarov, canceled his bout against Julian Marquez. Moreover, in the weigh-ins three more fighters failed to hit the defined mark. It was reported that the co-main event fighter Abdul Razak Alhassan (Welterweight), the main card fighter Erik Anders (Middleweight), and a Bantamweight entry Louis Smolka, were found to be overweight in their respective weight divisions, and will now forfeit 20% of their fight purse in favor of their opponents.
