Being the biggest MMA promotion in the world, UFC is bound with a duty to perform regular doping checks on its fighters and for that it has recognised USADA as the sole body to take care of that concern.
So, while the fighters comply with the condition to get tested regularly, a certain uncertainty gets tagged along. The officers can knock at the professional’s door anytime. In lines with the same, it turns out a fighter from the 170-pound division Yancy Medeiros became a recent subject of anti doping agency’s sudden landing.

On Sunday, November 15, Yancy Medeiros took to Twitter to reveal his recent awkward encounter with USADA. Medeiros conveyed, that he was indulged in an intercourse, when USADA came knocking on his door. And what happened afterwards can be termed as a classic case of awkwardness.
“Having sex in my living room and @usantidoping comes pounding on my door at 8pm… best part, him trynna be all professional as I look him in the face, knowing this foo heard everything going down…been tested pre/post competition, but “during” is a first.”

Yancy Medeiros’ UFC Career
Medeiros debuted in UFC in 2013. Till now he has competed 14 times in the promotion and exhibits an overall 15-7-1 record in MMA. In UFC he has won 3-performance of the night awards, and has featured in 2-stand out fights as well. In UFC he’s been a part of Lightweight and Welterweight divisions.
Currently he’s been going through a tough phase in his career. The 33-year-old has only stepped inside the Octagon on three occasions in the last three years, and has lost all three of his bouts. As of now he is not booked to face anyone in future.
