Unai Emery blamed ex-girlfriend for losing Arsenal Job. She claims he called her a ‘white witch’ who had brought him so much ‘bad luck.’
Unai Emery was charged with the responsibility of leading Arsenal into the post-Wenger Era. He gave a good account of himself in his first year leading them to the Europa League final. He also lead the Gunners to an 11-match unbeaten run.

His 2nd year however, went horribly wrong. The Spaniard completely lost the script as Arsenal’s campaign went from bad to worse. He no longer had the confidence of the dressing room and his poor grasp of the English language meant he was unable to parley his message across; all of which led to constant ridicule by fans.
It has now emerged that in all of this Unai Emery blamed his ex-girlfriend Sacha Wright for cursing him at the end of his time at the Premier League.
Unai Emery blamed ex-girlfriend for losing Arsenal Job
35-year old Sacha Wright told The Sun , that the pair met in 2018. Unai Emery swooned her by using google translate. They would regularly meet at the star-studded Gaucho steak restaurant in Hampstead, North West London, where they would drink Laurent Perrier champagne until 1am.
Sacha believed that they would one day get married and have kids together. However, Emery’s insistence that he not introduce her to his friends and family convinced her that he was not ready for a relationship.
The couple broke up last year in September, after which Arsenal would go on to endure a torrid run of results; one that saw Emery lose his job.
‘It was then that he blamed me for getting him the sack. He told me I was a white witch as I had brought him so much bad luck,’ she revealed.
‘He said, “It was the day we broke up that we started to lose, he told me he was so stressed out that his mind wasn’t in the right place after we separated.’
Wright revealed that following Emery’s sacking, their relationship was rekindled for a while but ended soon after. She has since vowed to never see the Spaniard again.
