USA vs JPN Dream11 : USA look to quench their longing for a convincing win when they take on Japan today
While USA knew this would not be the easiest of campaigns at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 for them with the side devoid of all their myriad performers, their start has been far from what one would call an ideal one. Things have gotten tricky from them right from the word go with the side justifying all the flak directed at them prior to the start of their campaign.
Filled with young and inexperienced names, players clearly bereft of ideas when it comes to succeeding in pressure situations, USA might have won two matches but none ended up doing any favours to the side. The first match itself saw them embroiled in a skirmish with Turkey, catapulting after winning the first quarter to lose the succeeded three before just about managing to scrape through to a 93-93 in overtime.
Whilst their 88-67 win over Czech Republic was a more comprehensive display, the side are yet to find their attacking touch which has made them such a successful side at the showpiece tournamnet. They’ll be looking to unlock their true potential when they clash heads with Japan today, a side placed at the bottom of Group E.
With two successive defeats, Japan have become the first side to be dismissed to the Classification Round from the group with today’s clash brining only pride for them. However with them up against the number one ranked unit in the world, the ordeal looks far from improving for Japan who look likely to be obliterated and wiped out today.

USA vs JPN Dream11 Point Guard
Be it against Turkey or Czech Republic, USA have had to massively thank their point guard for their consummate success in the tournamnet. Kemba Walker has been an integral part of whatever good the side have been able to conjure up, using his skill set to run the play from down the court perfectly to come up with both assists and steals for his side.
We are also including Seiya Ando from Japan with the Asian side bound to give their lesser played players some time out on the court today.
Shooting Guard for USA vs JPN Dream11
USA’s Donovan Mitchell is undoubtedly the best shooter the side have at their disposal. He’s registered the most points for two straight matches now, emerging as their player of the match on both the occasions and we couldn’t craft our side without getting him in.
He got a massive 16 points in the last match and with Dream 11 finally including him in the game, he was the first player we wanted to indulge in for this clash. We have also decided to head in with USA’s Joe Harris. He does no damage to our side at just 9.5 credits and should find ample situations to get into his ambit and place himself nicely outside the circle to send down some well cued threes.
USA vs JPN Dream11 Small Forward
With the one block in the previous clash, Yuta Watanbe from Japan showed that he can be fruitfully deployed in the defensive side of things as well for his side. Expect him to play a heavy role screening his side’s basket and guarding USA’s players, something which could see him get in some good blocks.
Also, with USA bound to pay a free brand of basketball and look to keep marauding up the court, they will expose open threes, something which Watanbe could capitalise on today.
USA vs JPN Dream11 Power Forward
Japan’s best player in the last match with a stunning 15 points and 7 rebounds, power forward Rui Hachimura was always going to be indulged by us. The specialist forward justified his role in the side, showing why he’s the talisman of this outfit as he put in an unequivocal display for his side.
USA’s Jayson Tatum comes in as well after proving to be indispensible in both sending down the basket from inside the circle and intertwining with the rest of his players along with guarding the opposition’s attacks.
USA vs JPN Dream11 Centre
Brook Lopez from USA is likely to get an extended role in this clash as USA look try out some new things as well and we are closing side with his selection.
Star Player
There was only one name for us in consideration for the star performer with Mitchell being selected for the role.
