USA-W Vs Netherlands-W: Twitter reactions on USA’s triumph on Women’s World Cup for the fourth time after defeating Netherlands.

USA defeated Netherlands in the final tie of the FIFA Women’s World cup, and making them winning it for the fourth time, and they achieved their last two World Cups in a row.

The grandest stage of Women’s football is now over, and the defending champions and favourites of the tournament stood up to the expectations as they dominated the Dutch.

The final match of the tournament started with a high degree of competitiveness, where both the teams tussled to remain in the game. The first half of the game ended in a deadlock.

In the second half of the match, USA pressurized Netherlands in their 18-yard box, and the Dutch succumbed to the nervousness as Van De Gragt was charged for a high-boot, giving a penalty to the US national team.

Megan Rapinoe took the charge of the penalty and scored right into the net to get a 1-0 lead in the 61st minute of the game. The one-goal deficit made Netherlands desperate for an equalizer.

Which eventually exposed the areas left by Dutch in the need of a goal. These gaps were found by USA, as the newly crowned champions extended their lead to 2-0 after a counter attack strike by Rose Lavelle.

Therefore, the second goal shattered the hopes of the Dutch national team, and secured the second successive title for USA. The victory by USA stormed the internet. So, Here are some of the Twitter reactions after USA winning the World Cup for the fourth time.
