Life as a Valorant fan just got more exciting. Valorant Dev Diaries just dropped a plethora of news. Adding to the excitement, China is set to receive Valorant open beta, finally. And let’s not talk about the new Sentinel.

Valorant Dev Diaries just landed the news of the millennia. A brand new fast-paced game mode is coming to the game. There will be more than one Agent addition in the coming days.

And, after three long years of wait, Devs reveal that the game is set to release the open beta in China. There is much more exciting news to go through. So let’s not wait for another second and hop into details.

Valorant Dev Diaries reveal in-game changes

TDM game mode addition

Host Anna Donlon, SVP and the Executive Producer on Valorant, hands over the mic to Game Director Andy Ho, who talks you through the upcoming additions. He talks about the new game mode that is set to be released in Valorant. And it is nothing other than TDM (Team Deathmatch).

The new game mode will feature a fast-paced structure with a twist, you get to keep your abilities. So it will feature speed and creativity alongside each other.

Progression changes for in-game accessories and battle pass rewards in Episode 7 Act I

Riot will be changing the dynamics of how the progression system in Valorant. They will add a new way to make unlocking previous battle pass skins an option. They will also make changes to the Agent Contract progression to make it easier for you to unlock rewards.

Valorant Open Beta launch in China

It is finally time! After what felt like an eon, Valorant finally going to enter Open Beta in China. While there is no definite date attached to the news, the Devs say the wait isn’t long. Very soon the Open Beta is going to be announced for the China region. Time is being used to ensure a prospering and friendly ecosystem for the players.

New Valorant Agents by the end of 2023

Anna also added that two new Agents are set to enter the roster of Valorant. One of them, a Sentinel is set to release with the launch of the Valorant Episode 7 Act I. The other Agent will be a Duelist set to release before the end of 2023.

Surprises for the upcoming Valorant Tokyo Masters and Valorant Champions

The Valorant Tokyo Masters is right around the corner as the top 12 teams from all around the world are going to war. Followed by the ultimate goal, the Valorant Champions in August. And to add to the excitement, the Devs confirmed that there will surely be some surprises set for you along the way.

By the time Valorant Premier launches in August with Valorant Episode 7 Act I hits, we fans will remain captivated by the festivities of the VCT 2023 ending.
