Vincy Premier League 2020 Points Table: Which is the best team in Vincy Premier League T10 so far?

Vincy Premier League 2020 Points Table: The SportsRush present before you the full points table of Vincy Premier League 2020.

In addition to the Vanuatu T10 League 2020, the inaugural season of the Vincy Premier T10 League 2020 is the only active cricket tournament around the world amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Initiated by Indian Sports Technology firm Dream11, the tournament had commenced on May 22 (Friday) and will go on May 31 (Sunday).

The six-team tournament is following the shortest version of the sport, i.e., 10 overs per side contests. Apart from a large majority of domestic West Indian players, national players like Kesrick Williams, Sunil Ambris and Obed McCoy are also taking part in the tournament.

Representing Salt Pond Breakers, 27-year old Ambris has been the top-scorer in the tournament so far on the back of scoring 221 runs in six matches at an average of 73.66 and a strike rate of 172.65 including one half-century. Having picked seven wickets at an average of 8.42, an economy rate of 4.91 and a strike rate of 10.2, Ambris is also the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

Ambris’ teammate in Wesrick Strough is the best bowler till now as his nine wickets have come at an average of 11.11, an economy rate of 10 and a strike rate of 6.6.

Vincy Premier League 2020 Points Table

Considering how well Salt Pond Breakers’ players have performed this season, there is no surprise whatsoever regarding them being at the top of the points table in the first season of the Vincy Premier League. The franchise has lost only one out of their six matches so far.

La Soufriere Hikers are a position below Salt Pond Breakers with same number of victories like them. Having won four and lost two matches, Botanic Garden Rangers are at the third position on the points table.

Dark View Explorers, who were at the third position previously, have dropped down to the fifth position with four losses in two matches. While Grenadine Divers have a similar fate so far, they are at the fourth position on the back of a better net run rate.
