Indian Captain Virat Kohli celebrated the 2-1 T20I series victory against England in grand style as India defeated the hosts by a comprehensive 7-wicket margin.

A match that started with the fireworks of Jason Roy and Jos Buttler ended with the explosive batting of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.
After Dhawan and Rahul were dismissed early, Kohli and Sharma stitched a class partnership to steady things. By the time Kohli was dismissed India were on the doorsteps of a win.

Kohli scored a match defining 43 run knock off just 29 balls. His partnership along with Rohit Sharma was crucial in taking India to a place of comfort.
Kohli was extremely pleased with the Indian team after the series win. The satisfaction of pulling through a series win against one of the better teams in International Cricket was quite evident.
Kohli praised the way the Indian bowlers held through the match after going for plenty in the first 10 overs. The way that they took periodic wickets certainly helped them to bounce back in the game.
The two teams will next clash in the ODI series beginning from the 12th of July.
