Although Sehwag used to give the bowlers jitters down their spines, he himself was scared of one legend whom he always found it difficult to pick up.
Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan is one of the integral part of Sri Lankan history. He always had that charisma to outsmart Sehwag.
In an exclusive chat show with India Today, the former aggressive batsman added that he had the best of times facing any bowler but couldn’t get the better of one all the time.
Sehwag opened up that Muralitharan scared him to the core with bowling action in tandem with his facial expressions.
He said that he tend to be swept over by Murali’s scary facial expressions and also added that his doosra was the toughest to connect.
“Although I was not scared to face any bowler but Muttiah Muralitharan’s bowling action, facial expressions scared me off. He used to bowl the doosra which was not easy to pick,” Sehwag said during the chat show.
