Virgil Van hilariously shouted at Moise Kean to put him off his game during the Merseyside derby. Funnily enough, Kean went on to miss the shot.

Liverpool may have suffered a close shave against Napoli in the Champions League. However, in the Premier League they continue their run of dominance as they dispatched Everton in their Merseyside derby with yet another commanding performance.

Divock Origi scored twice while Xherdan Shaqiri, Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum added a goal each to pound 5 goals against Everton. The Toffees scored two themselves with Michael Keane and Richarlison scoring in the first half. However, the mountain proved too difficult to climb in the end.

The match was a lot more intense than the final scoreline suggests though and if Moise Kean would have struck at 4-2, the final minutes at Anfield would have been much more tense than the Reds would have wished for.

With just 5 minutes remaining in the match, Moise Kean raced through on goal. He looked prime to score Everton’s 3rd goal. Instead however, the Italian teenager played the ball wide after coming one on one with Adrian.

The replays however, suggests that Liverpool’s star defender Virgil Van Dijk may have been responsible for the wayward finishing. Van Dijk can be seen dishing out Sunday league tactics as he hilariously screamed at Keane to distract him just before he shot the ball.

Liverpool are sitting comfortably in first place with 43 points. Leicester City are currently in second place with 35 points while Defending champions Man City are 11 points off Liverpool with 32 points at 3rd place. The Reds look good to capture their first ever Premier League title. However, with 23 games more to go, they will not look to celebrate early. They can however, give themselves a pat in the back for being brilliant so far.
