WATCH: Glenn Maxwell takes the catch of the Summer to dismiss Virat Kohli

Ever since the India vs Australia series was announced, all of India wanted Virat Kohli to succeed this time round, as he faltered big time during the home test series.

In his pre-match press conference, Kohli had emphasised on the fact that the series was not about him, but about how the Indian team would fare against a highly competitive Australian side(stating the obvious, but anyway).

But when Kohli walked into the middle after a rash shot from Ajinkya Rahane, it felt like he wanted to give it back to the Aussies, to rectify his poor record against the Aussies.

When you pick up a book titled ‘101 Ways to get Virat Kohli out’, the first chapter would read ‘Bowl it full and wide to him early on’, and that is exactly what Coulter Nile did.

Kohli too instinctively fetched for it and ended up slicing it to Glenn Maxwell at backward point. The ever acrobatic Maxi, jumped for it with one hand, timing his jump to perfection and getting hold of it with perfection.

Virat Kohli was dismissed for a duck and India were left tottering at 11/2.
