Australia are currently on top of the 4th test match in the Ashes Series against England. Steve Smith has scored yet another half-century to lead Australia’s comeback after being reduced to 44-4 earlier in the day.

Australia currently have a lead of 310 runs and have essentially batted England out of the match already. However, that doesn’t mean that England have retired into a shell. Instead it seems that they are now instead resorting to hilarious scare tactics.

Mathew Wade who has batted sensibly well with Steve Smith to take them to safety amidst the chaotic start. While batting against Jofra Archer, the Ausie batsmen played a ball and took a single.

He was attempting to take a second but England’s latest sensation humorously stood in front of him, stopping him dead in his tracks to make for a humorous viewing.

Australia are smooth sailing at the moment and look to leave Manchester with the series beyond England’s reach. Steve Smith has scored a 50 plus score every time he has come out to bat in this series.

After scoring twin centuries in the opening match, the former Australian captain followed it up with a 92 at Lords. Unfortunately, a Jofra Archer bouncer prevented him from playing any further in that match and the one after that.

England seized the opportunity and seized a memorable win. However, he has returned and once again to hand the advantage back to Australia. At the moment, it looks like England have no clue how to get his wicket.
