WATCH: Kieron Pollard grabs tremendous caught and bowled to dismiss Shreyas Iyer in Hyderabad T20I

Kieron Pollard grabs tremendous caught and bowled: The opposition captain put in a first rate fielding effort towards the end.

During the first T20I of the ongoing West Indies’ tour of India at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard grabbed a tremendous catch off his own bowling to dismiss India batsman Shreyas Iyer.

It all happened on the last delivery of the 18th over when Iyer hit a ball towards the left of Pollard. The big man timed his dive to perfection to catch the ball with both his hands. The 32-year old player followed the catch with an apt celebration.

Coming in to bat at No. 5 in the 17th over, Iyer scored 4 (6) before getting out. In the only over that he bowled, Pollard registered bowling figures of 1-0-10-1.

With India requiring 15 runs off the last two overs, it was bread and butter for captain Virat Kohli who sealed the chase with eight deliveries to go.

Having scored his 23rd T20I half-century, Kohli played the lead role in yet another successful chase. Not appearing in the best of forms in the first half of his innings, Kohli ended up scoring a magnificent 94* (50) with the help of six fours and sixes each.
