Watch: Kuldeep Yadav dismisses Steve Smith by wonderfully deceiving him

Watch: Kuldeep Yadav dismisses Steve Smith by deceiving him with a wonderful ball, latter falls short of two runs to make a ton.

India and Australia gave an entertaining match in the 2nd ODI fixture at the Rajkot as India stepped inside the pitch to keep its hope alive before the last ODI match of the series at Bangalore.

The men in blue gave a staggering target of 341 to Australia in order to clinch the match, but the explosive batting lineup was not an easy pill to swallow for the best balling lineup in the world.

Steve Smith was the biggest threat to India’s plan tonight. The Australian batsman at one point seemed to cruise his side to victory with his sensational innings.

The Australian was slowly marching towards his first ton of the series but India’s ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav took all the glory away from the Australian International.

Yadav delivered a short googly turning away from the middle. Smith picked it all right as he shaped to cut but could only chop it back onto the stumps off the under-edge.

A very crucial wicket in the innings given the magnitude of Smith’s participation in the match. Smith felt so raged with his dismissal that he waved his bat in the air to show his absolute disappointment.

Meanwhile, Kuldeep’s contribution was not only limited to smith’s wicket but he also dismissed Alex Carey moments before Smith. Thus, taking away the match from Australia in just 3 balls.

Further in the match, Mohammad Shami took 2 wickets successively to practically end Australia’s any chance to win the game. With just a few overs left in the game and tailenders into the pitch, the verdict of the series lies on the final match of the series in Bangalore.
