Luis Suarez has long terrorised goal keepers around the world. However, on Saturday night, it was his turn to don the gloves. The 32-year old joined the likes of Juan Sebastian Veron, Juan Roman Riquelme and Esteban Cambiasso at the Estadio Centenario, Montevideo to partake in Diego Forlan’s testimonial.

After playing the first half as a striker, Suarez surprised the fans by playing the entire second half as a goalkeeper. During his stint as his side’s glovesman, Suarez produced quite the show and proved to be a decent shot stopper. Uruguayan TV station @teledoce have posted several clips of Suarez’s glovesmanship for us to sit back and enjoy.

The match ended 6-6 with Diego Forlan getting on the scoresheet in his final game. Everyone from the players to the fans seemed to have a lot of fun on the night. What a way to pull the curtains on a great career.
