Ravi Ashwin laughs at Ramiz Raja: The Indian spinner posted a hilarious comment on a video from the third Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20I.

During the third T20I of the ongoing Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan in Lahore, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 13 runs to whitewash the No. 1 ranked T20I team. Touring without their main players, Sri Lanka dominating the hosts spoke highly about their skills in this series.

After Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanka won the toss and chose to bat, the visitors scored 147/7 in 20 overs on the back of Oshada Fernando’s impressive 78* (48) with the help of eight fours and three sixes.

Chasing a 148-run target, Pakistan ended up scoring 134/6 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. While top-order batsmen in Babar Azam (27) and Haris Sohail (52) got off to starts, them playing with a strike rate of 84.37 and 104 respectively put their team in a difficult position.

Having registered bowling figures of 4-0-21-3, Sri Lanka spinner Wanidu Hasaranga was the pick of the bowlers for them.

In three T20Is, Hasaranga dismissed eight batsmen at an average of 9.87, an economy rate of 6.58 and a strike rate of 9 to finish the series as its highest wicket-taker. As a result, the 22-year old cricketer was awarded the Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards.

Hasaranga was accompanied by Sri Lanka chief selector (as a translator) during the presentation ceremony. Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja, who was hosting the presentation ceremony, was seen making a hilarious gesture after asking the first question from Hasaranga.
