Much to his sheer genius, he got the better of the New Zealand bowlers and went on to score his 31st ODI century to surpass Ricky Ponting’s record of 30 ODI centuries.
Virat Kohli scored 121 runs that included 9 fours and a couple of sixes in his staggering innings that piloted India to a commendable 280 runs.
Kohli is only behind Sachin in terms of centuries in ODI’s and being in good shape like this could well get him to the top level.
