On the dark side, Yuvraj Singh was cornered by all infamous negative vibes when he suffered cancer. Everyone thought that he hit the nadir of his cricketing career.
But, that didn’t stop him from coming back to the pitch again to win the prestigious ICC World Cup 2011. He was named the man of the series for his awesome all-round shows.
Little did others know Yuvraj Singh would battle out cancer with grit and determination. He never gave up at tough times and the passion for cricket kept him alive.
During the Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9, Yuvraj Singh went emotional and shed tears when he started speaking about the passage of process when he fought cancer.
KBC 9’s episode was aired today and the star cricketer Yuvraj Singh alongside Bollywood diva Vidya Balan attended the show.
Talking about how he faced hard times when he suffered cancer, he said his health started to go down and had the tumour in him that was a bit risky.

“When I woke up in the morning, little bit of red coloured mucous came out and also the tumour of 14 centimeters but I kept on playing.
My health started declining eventually, the doctor suggested me that if I don’t take a treatment even now then it would be hard for me to be alive,” Yuvraj Singh said.
However, he fought cancer and made a steep bounce in his life. His inspirational story will forever be remembered by people. This goes to show he is a born fighter!
