Like the cricketers before him, KL Rahul is no stranger to the rumors linking him with Bollywood beauties. He has previously been linked with actress Nidhi Agarwal. However, just before he left for the tour of West Indies, Alia Bhatt’s best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor found her name linked to the opener.
Rumor mills had suggested that the two were inseparable after hitting it off a few months ago. The cricketer however, refuted the rumors, saying that he was only committed to cricket. There are still murmurs however, there is no evidence to prove the claims.
Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, who has also been linked with KL Rahul in the past, is back to square one once again due to the online activity of her friend Vikram Phadnis.

The actress shared a quote on her Instagram “Trust the timing of your life.” Producer Vikram Phadnis then decided to pull Athiya’s leg as he commented:
“You seem to be v hyper and excited these days??? Let’s go to KL??? ….. Kuala Lumpur????
This elicited a response from the actress who replied: “Time to block you”
Phadnis was far from done though. He came back with another comment saying:
“I will complain to the UMPIRE!! @athiyashetty and once your WICKET is gone … it’s back to the pavilion!!!.”
This interaction has certainly lead to an interesting turn to the question of who is KL Rahul dating.
KL Rahul was recently on a tour with the Indian Cricket team where the men in Blue Thumped the West Indies 2-0 in the just concluded test series. India may have won both their matches by huge margins but KL Rahul once again failed to deceive as he managed a paltry 81 in 4 innings. Quite the low after the highs of the World Cup where he played the perfect foil to Rohit Sharma’s destructive showing.
