TheSportsRush brings Wolves vs Manchester City highlights, as the newly promoted side holds the defending Premier League champions for a point.
Points were shared between Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers on the third match-week of the season. Wolves took the lead early in the second half, which was cancelled out by a Aymeric Laporte in the 69th minute.
Controversies surrounded the match as City were denied a potential penalty in the first half, and the goal which gave Wolves the lead was a hand-ball. Wolves continued to threaten the Man City defence and struck the woodwork on occasions, but couldn’t find the winner.
The hosts displayed high press and energy throughout the match and created many problems for Pep Guardiola’s side. Even when Man City’s attackers came close to scoring, Rui Patricio’s acrobatic saves denied them the three-points in the early weekend kick-off.
Wolves, however, are without a win in three games, having lost to Leicester City and drawn their game against Everton.

Man City have just exchanged Silva for Jesus, and historically that doesn’t end well.

Manchester City have just dropped points to a promoted team who are yet to win this season. Are we now set to see a week-long character assassination of Pep Guardiola?

Off day for Manchester City. Still conceded a handball goal, could’ve had a penalty and hit the post three times. One to forget, but not that bad.

Wolves held Manchester City. Wolves attacked City. Wolves defended.
BUT Wolves did not park the bus.
