Chris Hero calls Bruce Mitchell out for implying that AEW and Brodie Lee’s family lied about his cause of death just a day after he passed away.

He reasoned that a woman who recently lost the father of her children covered up the cause of his death to ensure that AEW could continue airing during the pandemic. Mitchell also saw issues with AEW and Amanda keeping a tight lid during his illness.
He claimed to have never seen a man the size of Brodie develop a lung condition that quickly and suggested that both AEW and Amanda should come clean about the circumstances of his death. All of these in spite of AEW acknowledging Covid cases to their talents and/or partners in the past.

The Internet Wrestling Community did not take kindly to the journalist’s entitled take on information he had nothing to do with. Chris Hero, known as Kassius Ohno, took to Twitter to express his disgust for a man pointing fingers with no evidence.
@mitchellpwtorch Bruce. I hope one day you look back on yourself with extreme disappointment & gross embarrassment.
You don’t know a fraction of what you ‘think’ you know & your speculation is heartless. Do better.

It is a journalist’s job to ask the questions no one wants to ask. But sometimes however, one has to have the tact about himself to know when. Another important question to ask yourself is ‘to what end?’ Why would Amanda lie to the world for AEW’s sake? Why would she allow her son to join his father at AEW two weeks back if Brodie was sick?
Just to make things worse, he even throws in a joke about Cody’s hair dye and it becomes evident that not a lot of thought was given behind the article beyond the fact that it would certainly raise some eyebrows. To his credit, that’s exactly what it did.
