Snoop Dogg pins Serpentico, helps Matt Hardy take a shot at WWE on AEW New Year’s Smash. The Rapper left quite the impression.

Snoop Dogg was heavily advertised for AEW’s New Year’s Smash. Tony Khan surely got his money’s worth with the appearance. The rapper, was heavily featured on tonight’s show and even helped Matt Hardy get a bit of a shot on WWE.

He was seen backstage bringing a bottle of gin with himself to share with Private Party.


Later in the night, he accompanied Cody for his match against Matt Sydal and when no one expected it, he performed a splash of his own from the top rope.

Earlier in the night, Matt Hardy was seen talking to Private Party convincing them to sign some papers. Hardy was seen mocking the WWE over their controversial third party ban claiming that he wasn’t a monster who would take those kind of opportunities away from someone.


He was also seen ringside during Cody’s match with Sydal. Cody came out on top but Luther and Serpentico ran out and attacked Sydal. Snoop and Cody walked in to help Sydal. Sydal and Cody overcame the heels. Cody attempted to climb the ropes for an aerial attack but Snoop stopped him.

The rapper climbed the ropes. He struggled for a bit but managed to hit the splash on Serpentico while pinning him for a three count. An unofficial three count, but entertaining nevertheless.
