Bray Wyatt WWE status

Bray Wyatt has emerged as one of the biggest stars in the promotion since reinvigorating his character as The Fiend. While this has earned a couple of World title runs, his misfortune with the promotion continues. He was fired after his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. While Triple H brought him back a year and a half later, he then missed out on a major match at this year’s WrestleMania. With no update regarding his future, fans are worried if he has been let go of once again.

Wyatt was originally scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at the Showcase of Immortals. Although, that match was nixed after news broke that he was dealing with an illness. He is yet to be seen on WWE TV since. However, it appears we have an update on his current status in the WWE.

What did Bray Wyatt tell people about his current WWE status?

Fans have been worried that history may repeat itself and Bray Wyatt may once again be let go off by WWE. Despite a roaring return to the promotion, he is yet to live up to the hype. Wyatt has also done himself no favors by keeping the Fiend character, the gimmick that got him over in the first place, away.

It’s a mixture of everything that could go wrong that has left fans wondering what his current status in the promotion is. However, it appears that there is no cause for concern.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Bray Wyatt is still with the company and is actually more than eager to make his comeback. The report read:

“Bray Wyatt was overcoming an illness as of WrestleMania weekend, and wasn’t in the creative plans. However, he’s told people close to him, he’s excited to make his way back whenever he’s able.”

Brock Lesnar rejected opportunity to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39

Bray Wyatt was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. However, the Almighty was not the opponent originally penned down to face him.

Triple H actually wanted Lesnar to face Wyatt in a mega match at the Grandest Stage of All. However, the Beast Incarnate had other plans and instead went with Vince McMahon’s choice, Omos.

In hindsight, the Nigerian Giant proved to be a better choice.

The two put on an eight-minute match that was 8 minutes longer than the one Wyatt and Lashley had. Wyatt missed the event due to an illness and Lashley, without an opponent, only showed up to show off the Andre The Giant Battle Royal Trophy he won on the SmackDown before.

This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
