Sarah Logan opens up on potential WWE return

Sarah Logan opens up on potential WWE return. The former Riott Squad member was released by the promotion last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The WWE resorted to budget cuts last year due to the Covod-19 pandemic. Several wrestlers were let go off by the promotion including Riott squad’s Sarah Logan. The wrestler immediately announced her intention to step away from the squared circle for the foreseeable future.

Many had assumed then that she had hung up her boots for good. Although, it looks like Logan is keeping her options open. On her recent appearance on  Vickie Guerrero’s Excuse Me podcast, she spoke about the possibility of working with the WWE again.

Sarah Logan opens up on potential WWE return

“If I’m able to finagle a way to comfortably have my kid on the road, I don’t see why I wouldn’t come back full-time,” Logan said. “Me and [Erik] rent an RV and drive to each town, and Cash is with us… but I have a farm. My mom can only take care of it so much, so part of me is like, ‘I’ll come back part-time’.

“With WWE, you don’t really get to pick how you come back,” she continued. “I will come back to wrestling in some capacity, I’m sure of it. It’s pretty much all I’m really qualified to do.”

Logan joined the WWE in 2016 and made her NXT debut in the same year. She was part of the May Young Classic a year later. Her breakout moment however, was her WWE main roster debut alongside Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan as part of the Riott Squad.

By 2019 Logan, along with the rest of her teammates, would transition into singles wrestling. Her last appearance on WWE was a loss to Shayna Baszler in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match.

She is married to fellow WWE star Erik from the Viking Raiders. The couple announced that they were expecting last year on July.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
