Nobody in WWE believes Bray Wyatt was released due to budget

According to a report from Fightful Select, both Bray Wyatt and the WWE Locker room were told that budget cuts was the reason why they had come to the decision they had. However, “almost nobody” within WWE believes that Bray Wyatt was actually let go due to budget cuts because of everything that has been stated above.

According to the report almost 20 people have reached out to Fightful this weekend to say they don’t believe the company’s reasoning. They believe that there has to be more to this release due to Wyatt being a “known money-maker” for the company.

“A consensus was that almost nobody in the company truly believed this was a budget cut, citing Wyatt’s popularity, merchandise sales among reasons.”

If there is indeed more to this story then hopefully we will find out everything about it; Possibly once Wyatt completes his 90-day no compete clause. It will also be interesting to see where he where he takes his talents and creativity to.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
