“Just the thought of Sasha Banks and I having a match at WrestleMania gives me goosebumps,” Belair said. “I’ve said this before, it’s not about feeding my ego, it’s so much bigger than just having a wrestling match. Just having two strong women whose characters stand for, you know we are alpha females.

“We want to empower women, and having two females who stand for the exact same thing and two African-American women standing in the same ring, that is top-level representation right there and that’s for women, that’s for black women.”

Belair is currently in the middle of a feud with Banks’ former friend Bayley. It may take a while before she gets to the SmackDown Women’s Champion. However, a win at the Royal Rumble could fastrack her to a title opportunity.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
