The Miz takes a shot at fans after winning WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber. The A-Lister cashed in on Drew McIntyre tonight.

The Money in the Bank contract is designed to be one of surprise. It comes at the most unexpected of times and tonight’s cash in was definitely out of the blue. Not many would have put their money on Miz walking out as the WWE Champion when the day began but that’s exactly what happened.

Drew McIntyre left the Elimination Chamber with the WWE Championship on his shoulders. However, an attack by Bobby Lashley left an already exhausted McIntyre unable to defend himself. Money in the Bank contract holder Miz ran out to take advantage situation and 30 seconds later, he became a 2-time WWE Champion.

Miz won his first WWE Championship back in 2010. That reign also began with a cash in. The fans were outraged then as they were today. The A-Lister wasted no time in letting the fans what he thought of their opinions.

This unexpected win brings with it fresh twists and intrigue heading into Wrestlemania. Will McIntyre pursue his WWE Championship or will Sheamus/Lashley have his attention heading to the show of shows? Will the two head towards entirely different paths? If so, who will face The Miz at Mania?

There are many more questions and we’re going to have to wait and watch to find the answers.
