Triple H compares Undisputed Era with D-Generation X

Triple H compares Undisputed Era with D-Generation X. The Game believes the NXT foursome have the same magic as the legendary faction.

D-Generation X were one of the most controversial groups in the history of pro wrestling. When all was said and done however, they went down as a legendary faction that contributed to the onset of the Attitude Era; Wrestling’s most successful period ever.

To be compared to that group is an honor many factions strive to have and that is exactly what Triple H bestowed upon NXT’s Undisputed Era. The founding member of D-X claims that the Adam Cole led faction has the same magic that makes them work.

“Roddy, Bobby, Kyle and Adam are just so talented and the thing that works for me with them, whether they’re good guys or bad guys, is the authenticity of it. The realness of it. That unit is that unit. They get along,” Triple H told FOX Sports.

“That to me is the magic of it. When that magic is there, it’s next level. They have that magic. It’s real to them. There’s no show. I think that’s what worked with DX. It wasn’t a show. We were just us. We all got along in that manner. When it’s magic like that, it really works.”

That is some huge praise that should fill the quartet with confidence going into the Upcoming TakeOver.

The Undisputed Era will go head to head against Pat McAfee’s group which includes Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Birch at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in the titular match this Sunday.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
