Just by virtue of hosting the event at Raymond James, the WWE have already made the event better than the one last year that took place in the empty WWE Performance Center. Will this year’s event also be without an audience in attendance though?

Will the WWE have fans in attendance for Wrestlemania 37?

According to a WWE release, it seems that the WWE will allow fans to watch the event live from the stadium.

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WWE will announce ticket availability and safety protocols for WrestleMania 37 in the coming weeks. Information on additional WrestleMania Week events is forthcoming,” a part of WWE’s press release regarding this year’s Wrestlemania read.

Raymond James stadium housed an average of 14,483 fans for the Buccaneers’ eight NFL home games this season. This comes to about 22 percent of the stadium’s original capacity. The WWE will obviously not be allowed to pack the stadium full but it would make for a pleasant viewing if they’re allowed to have a similar number on the nights of their show.

It is still weird to think that a Wrestlemania took place without a single fan in attendance. Things will be different this year. While that would be a refreshing change of pace. We can only hope that all measures of prevention and precaution are taken over the course of both nights.
