Dubbed ‘The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’ Randy Orton will look to get one over Edge, after the Rated-R superstar came out of retirement to beat his friend turned foe at this year’s Wrestlemania.
The pay-per-view will also feature 5 title matches. Both Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman will defend their world titles. New Raw Women’s Champion Asuka will have her first title defence against Nia Jax while Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross look to regain their Women’s tag titles back from Sasha Banks and Bayley with the IIconics thrown in the mix.
Apollo Crews will defend his United States Championship against Andrade, who lost his title to the former in the lead up to Backlash. Jeff Hardy will take on Sheamus who made it seem like the Charismatic enigma took out Elias with his car after driving under the influence.
Interestingly, their feud began in the tournament for the Intercontinental title yet AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan, the two men who have reached the final, will conclude the tournament on SmackDown while Hardy and Sheamus duke it out 48 hours later on Pay per View.
