YD vs LT Dream11 Team Prediction: With no wins in five matches between them, Yorkshire and Lancashire head out in pursuit of two points.

As we keep traversing past the 2019 edition of the Super League, for two teams this final installment of the frontier league is turning out to be a harrowing outing. Both of our opponents today find themselves winless in the league, slumped right adjacent to each other in the trenches of the points tally.
For both Yorkshire Diamonds and Lancashire Lightning, life in the Super League has been one filled with apathy and angst. Both have been bereft of meaningful performances, failing bitterly in both the components of the game to be put down by their opponents in what have been runaway wins, leaving either side yearning for their first win.
It’s this proposition which is set to make today’s clash between these two an edge of the seat thriller with both finally getting an opponent of equal calibre to ply their skill set against. Either side will be knowing that this is their best chance to rake up the points on the board and finally break free of a winless impasse that has refused to let them flourish this season.
Lancashire make an advent into this encounter having faltered against Western Storm as they failed to defend a lacklustre total of 137. They slumped to a 6 wicket defeat, seeing them being handed their third successive defeat, one which surprisingly still placed them over the Diamonds who have lost two matches on the bounce. Where Lancashire have still shown the stomach of a fight, the Diamonds were cleaned apart by 9 wickets by Loughborough who chased down their 121 in 13.2 overs the last time the side took to the field.

Pitch Conditions And Toss
Being a relatively unused pitch, one which hardly sees much cricket being played on it, expect this to be a solid batting surface. The last matches we have seen been played here in the Super League have all favoured the batting side with toss hardly playing an impact on the final result. The side winning the toss will be looking to come out and field first on this wicket though.
Dream 11 Picks
Wicket-Keepers for YD vs LT Dream11
Alyssa Healy from Yorkshire Diamond is our pick for this match. She’s had a mixed bag till now, scoring big in the first match while being sent back for just 5 in the previous but she’s someone who can always score good runs. Along with this, her high batting position as an opener makes her someone to opt for in this facet.

Batswomen for YD vs LT Dream11
Her 50 in the second match against Surrey Stars was followed up by 26 in 17 balls against Western Storm, an innings that promised plenty before being curtailed abruptly due to a run-out.
Harmanpreet Kaur has been one of the most consistent and colossal names in the T20 circuit, someone who has over the course of the last year earned massive plaudits for her way to hit the ball to the fence.
She comes in for us from Lancashire along with opener George Boyce. She’s massively tapered off after her 50 in the league opener but today’s opposition is one against whom she could go onto regain her form and give her side the perfect platform to build on. From Yorkshire Diamonds we are bringing in number 4 bat Jemimah Rodrigues after she managed to get 20 in the side’s previous outing.
All-rounders for YD vs LT Dream11
An incredible innings of 62 in 49 balls, one laden with four 6s and three 4 saw her make a mockery of the opposition and stamp her authority as one of the finest names in the arena. It’s a performance her side will be wishing she can emulate today, one which would massively up the chances of them winning this match.
Pacer Emma Lamb accompanies her after picking up a wicket in every match she’s been involved in while our duo from Yorkshire Diamonds sees Leigh Kasperek and Helen Fenby enter our side. Both have suffered the same fate, failing in the last match after putting on sensational showings in the opening encounter, ones enough to see them come into our side.
Bowlers for YD vs LT Dream11
One thing which is a certainty in this encounter is the fact that both these sides will unravel when it comes to batting and lose plenty of wickets, especially as they look to go for the big shots. And spin is bound to leave the batters in tatters with English bats especially known for their inability to play the turning ball.
She’s failed to pick up a massive amount of wickets but her figures of 1-19 in the previous encounter showed how tough Sophie Ecclestone is to play for batters. Her left arm brand of spin will leave the right hand heavy batting unit of the opposition flummoxed, something which could see her finally be among the wickets she so massively deserves today.
Alex Hartley joins her while from the opposition we have also chosen a left arm spinner in the form of Linsey Smith after she delivered two overs for 8 runs in the previous match.
