Yuzvendra Chahal posts hilarious tweet on Quinton de Kock imitating his post in Visakhapatnam Test

Yuzvendra Chahal posts hilarious tweet on Quinton de Kock: The Indian leg-spinner saw the funny side of a viral photo.

India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently poked fun at South Africa wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock after a photo of the latter was doing the rounds across social media platforms.

Playing the ongoing first Test of South Africa’s tour of India in Visakhapatnam, de Kock was yesterday seen relaxing on the ground. His posture of sitting down was compared to Chahal sitting down at the boundary while carrying drinks during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Chahal posted a collage of both the photos as an Instagram story and tweet to tell de Kock that copying his pose isn’t his cup of tea. “Quiny [Quinton de Kock] bhai aapse na ho paayega [You won’t be able to do it],” read Chahal’s tweet.

Having registered his fifth Test century in the first innings, de Kock failed to get going in the second innings today. Coming in to bat at No. 6 in the 22nd over, de Kock was undone by India fast bowler Mohammed Shami. The southpaw was yet to open his account today.

As far as Chahal is concerned, he last played for India during the ODI series in West Indies in August. Currently rested from the T20I squad to try out rookie spinners, Chahal missed the three-match T20I series against South Africa due to the same reason.

It is worth mentioning that Chahal and de Kock have played together for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. In the eight matches that de Kock played in IPL 2018, he scored 201 runs at an average of 25.12 and a strike rate of 124.07 including a half-century.
