Zlatan on Kane: The former Manchester United forward, who has played against Harry Kane, has given a piece of advice to the English captain.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently playing for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy. The former Swedish international joined the side in 2018 from Manchester United.

During his time at Old Trafford where he joined in 2016, Ibrahimovic won a Europa League title and the EFL Cup.

However, his first season was marred with a severe knee injury in April, and the striker left a year later after limited first-team opportunities.

In LA Galaxy, Zlatan rejuvenated himself and became one of the leading scorers for the side. The striker is set to represent the side for another MLS season, and recently issued a few words of advice for Harry Kane.

Zlatan on Kane:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played against the Tottenham forward during his time at Manchester United.

And now, he has a piece of advice for Harry Kane.

The forward, despite being one of the leading goalscorers in the Premier League for many seasons now, is yet to win a major club honour.

Harry Kane came through the youth ranks at Tottenham and has been at the club ever since he made his senior debut, with short loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City.

And so, Zlatan has advised Kane to leave Tottenham if he wants to win trophies.

“When I was in England, I saw him play. I think he is a good striker. He’s still developing, he’s doing good things,” said the LA Galaxy star.

“But I always say, playing in a big club, performing good is different from playing in… with all respect to Tottenham, a ‘normal’ club.

“I think he can make it. He just needs to make the move, and people will remember you for what you win.

“So if he wants to win, then yes, I think he needs to change.”

Harry Kane has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid. After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the side has been struggling in the attack with inconsistent performances and injuries.

It was recently reported that Real Madrid made an inquiry about Harry Kane before the January transfer window.
